In the cause of my journey in life, I have had the need to visit the police station times without number, in each case, I am left unsatisfied by the state of the police station, the decaying infrastructure and the condition under which Nigeria Police Corps work.

A complainant has to move mountain to get the police do its constitutional duty, upon resorting a crime, the complainant is asked to foot the transport fee of the police to the place of crime, he pays to write his statements, and asked to recharge the police phone to make necessary calls at the course of investigation.
Often, a lot is skewed against the complainant that most times I am left wondering why a complainant has to suffer double jeopardy.
Several rapists, looters and criminals are working freely on the street because the victims of their crime cannot afford to mobilise police for Justice.
It is a shame that we do not have the right concept of government as a people, most of the police men can sell their families for pottage, collection of bribe from the motorist remain their source of income.

Nigeria police are so corrupt that they ask for money from drivers (both commercial and private) for money as if its their birth right. Hmmmm, Nigeria political nah wao
