On Saturday April 23, 2016 Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage surprised one of her fans in Lagos by showing up to perform free of charge at her wedding.
It was the wedding of Folakemi Olowu, a die-hard fan of Tiwa Savage.
Tiwa explained why she decided to surprise her saying, ‘Somethings in life are priceless. I love my supporters and always try to do everything in my power to show how much I appreciate them’.
She continued: ‘When I found out I actually re-arranged my schedule to accommodate the wedding. She had no idea I was coming and the expression on her face was worth any money lost because sometimes you have to appreciate those that support day and night with all their heart, they become family because you can’t explain why they love you so much. Congratulations Folakemi, may your marriage be fruitful and even more beautiful than your wedding day. To the rest of my sisters ‘the savage soldiers’ I was so shy seeing you all today but believe me inside I was over excited. I love each and everyone of you all. God bless you’.
