Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Haliru Bello has been reported dead.
According to a report by Goldmyne TV, the news of the death of the PDP stalwart has thrown members of the party into mourning state.
Bello, who was been prosecuted for his involvement in the alleged arms deal fraud, was reported to have died in the early hours of Saturday, April 30, 2016 in the United States of America.
The former Minister for Defense was reported to have been announced dead after going into coma days after he was discharged from a hospital, where he had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment since January 2016.
