AY Makun’s ‘A Trip to Jamaica’ Premiere


Finally, AY Makun has screened his much-anticipated movie, A Trip to Jamaica.
Arriving the Filmhouse Imax yesterday in Lagos, AY Makun made a grand entrance with co-star Funke Akindele in a white Lamboghini Hurracan whose resale price goes for a whopping $250,000.
The premiere unexpectedly was star-packed, and some of the acts spotted at the historic event included 2baba and Annie Idibia, Don Jazzy, Genevieve Nnaji, Lola Shoneyin, Yvonne Jegede, Nse Ikpe Etim, Uti Nwachukwu, and more.

 A Trip To Jamaica: Another Adventure of Akpos, the sequel to AY’s smash hit movie,30 Days In Atlanta, follows the hilarious character Akpos as he travels from the United States to Jamaica.
Some of the stars featured in this new film are Nigeria’s Nse Ikpe Etim and Funke Akindele, Ghana’s Chris Attoh, Reggae legend Ras Kimono, and former Miss Jamaica Universe contestant, Rebecca Silvera, who won this season of rapper The Game’s reality TV show,She’s Got Game, Hollywood top act Eric Roberts and Jamaica’s most popular star and painter, Paul Campbell.
The reviews are not yet in, however the premiere was preceded by AY’s victory at the Guinness Book of World Record after the prequel 30 Days in Atlanta was named the highest grossing Nollywood movie in the box office.
