Banky W has revealed plans for new album releases from Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) artistes.
In an interview with Music site NotJustOk in New York, the record label boss share details of projects the label was working on when he was asked “what’s new for EME?”
“Everything, Niyola’s album, Shaydee’s album, DJ Xclusive’s All White Party, Banky W’s album, Banky W’s mixtape with DJ Xclusive”, Banky W said.
He also opened up about playing a role as a groom in Kemi Adetiba’s film "The Wedding Party”.
“Because you people want to seem me married so bad - so we have done it in a film,” he said.
The interview was conducted backstage at the One Africa Music Fest in held on July 22, 2016 at the Barclays Center. The video was only just recently released by NotJustOK TV on October 18, 2016.
DJ Xclusive has since held his annual all white party. The event featuring performances from Skales, Cynthia Morgan and Ajebutter took place in Lagos on September 11, 2016.
Meanwhile, the release dates for the forthcoming albums of the artistes on the label is still yet to be revealed. Shaydee's upcoming album is titled "SOS".
The singer told Pulse Nigeria earlier in the year the album would feature collaborations with a long list of artistes including Reminisce, Banky W, Niyola, Iyanya, 2baba, Wizkid, Phyno, Flavour, Ice Prince, Burna Boy and more
