Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has assured young Nigerians that the country will overcome the challenges it is going through currently.
Obasanjo said though the country is not where it ought to be now, he expressed optimism that things will surely get better.
The ex-President also prayed for God’s blessings on those who have lost their lives fighting to keep Nigeria united.

“Unemployment is a major problem in the country today and if we don’t take care, it will consume all of us. In fact, the rising unemployment is a time bomb,” he added.
He said the high unemployment rate in the country is the cause of youth unrest, adding that the issue should be addressed.
Obasanjo also highlighted some areas he said will promote development, they include: security, education, food and nutrition, water and sanitation, shelter and transportation.
