The police on Tuesday, 8th, November, detained
144 child soldiers in Nepal as a result of incessant and disturbing protests ongoing
in the city.
The child soldiers were
said to be former Maoist.
According to the Police Spokesperson in Nepal, Pradhumna
Karki, the arrested child soldiers took control of an office in Kathmandu after
a national assembly meeting.
He added that half of them were women and most of
them have been arrested with their children.
