According to a statement by the Abia state PDP Publicity Secretary, Chief Don Ubani, the Abia State Treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Steve Omeoga, is dead.
It was learnt that he slumped shortly after playing a lawn tennis game at a club sport he loved unwinding. Eye witnesses confirmed that he was hale and hearty before he suddenly became unconscious and slumped.
He was confirmed dead at the "Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia".
