The move to investigate Hilary Clinton came shortly after high placed democrats in government launched critical attacks on the Head of the Bereau "James Comey".
Some of them even went as far as saying Comey might have broken the law by his shocking claims.
They claim Comey is using federal authority to influence the presidential election.
Top democrats who have severely criticised the FBI`s move include Senator Harry Reid, Senator Dianne Feinstein, Senator Patrick Leahy, Senator Ben Cardin and Senator Thomas Carper.
