The people of Ondo wil be electing a new governor today, saturday (November 26, 2016). The strong and most prospective candidates include Chief Rotimi Akeredolu
of the All Progressives Congress, Mr.
Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Olu Agunloye of the Social
Democratic Party and Olusola Oke of the Alliance for Democracy.
Eyitayo Jegede’s obtained the right to contest the election after the Court of Appeal ordered INEC to put him in the Jimoh Ibrahim as PDP`s candidate.
The other candidates are include the candidate of the
Accord Party`s , "Oladare Amuda", Mr. Yinka Orokoto of the Action
Alliance; the candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria, Chief
Adetuwo Ogunjumelo; the candidate of the Citizens Popular Party, Mr.
Peter Fasua; the candidate of the Labour Party, Adeuti Stephen; and the
candidate of the Peoples Party of Nigeria, Mrs. Temidola Olagbegi.
