A particular "Ibrahim Samuel" was sentenced to 18 months Evbouriaria Magistrates` Court in Benin for stealing six electrical fuses and Five rods copper wires.
Ibrahim was reported to have committed the offence on October 23, at Isiuwa Street, Benin City.
The sentence was issued by Magistrate, Mrs C. E Oghuma on a one-count charge of stealing.
Ibrahim reportedly pleaded guilty to the charge.
He received an option of paying #30000 in lieu of the term in prison.
