The former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo on Wednesday, spoke about the Buhari Administration. He told Buhari to deliver on his campaign promise to ease the economic burden of the citizenry.
Obasanjo made the statements while delivering a lecture at the First
Akintola Williams Annual Lecture in Lagos titled, “Nigeria yesterday, today and
tomorrow: Governance and accountability.’’
He added that it would have been unnecessary for Nigerians to clamour
for a change in governerness if things were comfortable before President Buhari
took over from former President Jonathan.
Obasanjo didn`t spare Buhari on the borrowing of
US$30bn by the Buhari administration, he said it could hurt the country in future.
He beckoned on Buhari to stop criticizing previous administrations and do the needful - mitigate the economic challenge
