With the result counted so far, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu of All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged new governor-elect of Ondo State.
According to the "Independent National
Electoral Commission" (INEC) Akeredolu has won 14 LGAs of the 18 LGAs
available, the Peoples Democratic Party led in two LGAs while the
Alliance
for Democracy won one.
The Chief Returning Officer, Prof. A. Ambali, announced a break and said the meeting will reconvene about noon.
