According to Migration Officials, "more than 200 migrants are believed drowned in two shipwrecks off the coast of Libya".
Spokesperson for the UN Refugee Agency: Carlotta Sami spoke on the issue, according to her, "4200 migrants have died making a journey across the Mediterranean Sea this year.
It was reported that about 330,000 migrants have crossed the sea this year (2016). Many of those killed in this incidence are assumed to be from West Africa.
Smugglers who mastermind journeys like this, usually overload the boats and send migrants off in terrible weather.
