Presidency Has Said One Of Jonathan’s “Deceitful And Ghost Projects Now Being Given Life.”

The Presidency has accused former president, Goodluck Jonathan of awarding fake contracts during his tenure.

The allegation was made by the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
Shehu mentioned the Kano-Katsina dual road project as an example of one of Jonathan’s “deceitful and ghost projects now being given life.”
“Kano-Katsina dual highway was awarded three years ago by the last administration. They didn’t pay a kobo for its start-up. President Buhari just paid money for the first tranche of 75 kilometers and work has begun apace,” the presidential aide said on Tuesday, November 15, during an interview on Express Radio in Kano state.
Shehu also said that the Buhari government would invest in infrastructure as part of steps to get Nigeria out of the current economic crisis.
