According to sources
withn the EFCC, Reuben Abati has gone back on his original statements to refund
#5 million from the #50 million naira he allegedly collected from the former
Security Adviser, “Sambo Dasuki”.
Mr. Abati also
allegedly told Interrogators that he couldn’t provide documentary evidence on
how he spent the #50 million naira. He claimed he gave out the money as cash
and gifts to journalists during the 2015 campaign.
It was learnt that
Abati turned himself in, to the EFCC. He has been in detention for over a week.
