RUSSIAN OFFICIAL ARRESTED ON CORRUPTION CHARGES
Russia’s main anti-corruption body, the Investigative Committee, has discovered that, A state official "Ulyukayev" received a bribe of about $2million so as to favour oil company "Rosneft" in acquiring a 50% stake in another company called "Bashnet".
According to a report by Reuters, an Investigative Committee official said Russian Economy Minister “Ulyukayev was detained at night, immediately after interrogation,”.
If found guilty he will face sentence of 8-15 years imprisonment.
