GAMBIAN PRESIDENT NO LONGER ACCEPTS ELECTION RESULT, SAYS VOTING NOT TRANSPARENT




Gambian President  Yahya Jammeh has rejected the result of the presidential election held earlier this month, barely few days after conceding defeat.
Yahya Jammeh, has been the Gambian ruler since being in power since 1994 , when he came in via coup.

In his words, Jammeh said.“I lament serious and unacceptable abnormalities which have reportedly transpired during the electoral process.
“I recommend fresh and transparent elections which will be officiated by a God-fearing and independent electoral commission.”
