Serving U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has congratulated President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee, Rex Tillerson, on his looming role has Secretary of State.
Kerry, in a statement he issued on
Tuesday, said the U.S. Department of State would provide full support
for a smooth transition for the incoming administration’s pursuit of
U.S. foreign policy.
He said, “I congratulate Rex Tillerson on his nomination as Secretary of State.
“The State Department will continue to provide our full support for a smooth transition.
