Marseille seems to have won the heart of unhappy Chelsea
midfielder Mikel Obi to shun big-money move to the Chinese Super League
to help revive the french club.

McCourt, who bought Marseille in October, had decided to invest
heavily in the January transfer window to aid manager Rudi Garcia`s goal of coming up with a team that could be European champions.
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr also spoke of the Nigerian midfielder “I saw him in London. He is in advanced discussions with OM. Marseille is a serious option for him,” he told Europe 1.
