The members Super Falcons team of Nigeria are due to be paid their allowances today Friday.
The team defeated hosts Cameroon by a goal to nil in
the final of the 2016 African Women’s Cup of Nations to clinch the title.
The team`s march to the
National Assembly and the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday has pressed the presidency into promising to settle their allowances today.
However, everybody is hoping the presidency makes good its words, to avoid unnecessary showdown!
