The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 6 Division in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, Maj.-Gen. Kasimu Abdulkarim, yesterday handed over the AK-47 rifle and uniforms of slain policemen Mohammed Alkali, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Mobile Police Unit 48 and his orderly, Sgt. Urukwu Nwachukwu.
The DSP and his orderly were beheaded during the December 10 bloody legislative rerun in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area.
The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Felix Obuah, is reported to be an indigene of the local government.
