An 18-year-old student, Allie Dowdle has raised £11,000 (N4 million) through a crowdfunding after her parents punished her for dating a black man, Michael Swift.
She said her father, Bill told her she was never allowed to see her boyfriend again.
She wrote: “As I am 18, my parents have chosen to no longer support my future, stripping me of all my resources.”
She took asylum in crowdfunding.
