Banji Ojo ‘’I WILL ENHANCE  WORKERS’ WELFARE IN EKITI STATE’’..

As the country celebrates the International Workers’ day, a top contender in the 2018 governorship election in Ekiti State under the Labour Party, Akogun Banji Ojo has hailed  the resilience of workers in the state, describing their dedication and untiring commitment to service in the face of tough economic situation as commendable.

According to a statement from the office of the Director of Communications and Media Strategy of Akogun Banji Ojo Campaign Organisation in Ekiti State, the Labour Party Governorship Aspirant felicitates with the great workers of Ekiti State on the worthwhile celebration of the  international workers’ day also known as Labour Day.

Speaking further, the aspirant said workers play a significant role in the nation’s re-building process and that without workers, an economically and socially  viable society would not be achievable.

Akogun Ojo further stated that the essence of workers’ day was to underscore the role and significance of workers in nation building, a festive tradition that workers all over the world now celebrate annually.

He promised to enhance the living condition of workers if elected as the next governor of Ekiti State under the platform of the Labour Party saying his government will reshape Ekiti and bring back its lost glory.

His words:’’I want to restate my commitment to workers and the good people of Ekiti State in this season of  workers’ day celebration.I also want to assure you once more that our government under the Labour Party will come up with programmes that will ameliorate the precarious conditions of our people.To achieve this,our team has designed a template that will guide us through our development agenda tagged; SHAPE and we are committed to achieving this.To achieve this objective,we are going to lay with speed a foundation for socio-economic and agro-prenuer revolution in the state which will empower workers and citizens as well, in order to drive our economy and revenue generation for the state to implement some of our programmes.’’
