Adesoye College Graduates 29 set of Students

Adesoye College located in Offa Kwara State had on Thursday, 4th June 2016 graduated its final year students numbering  sixty two. The event which took place in the school premises witnessed a mammoth crowd from all hemisphere of life. 

In his word of advice to the graduands, the principal of the college Dr. Kenneth Wembly urged the students not to quit in their endeavors.  

He said one of the words he loves to use and loves to hear is never ever quit and whenever people challenge you that you can never do it, always tell them that O yes you can. If the students work with those two words, sky will be their limit.

He also urged the students to build on their characters as the school had already inculcated in them discipline and morals that will prepare them to meet with the new face of their lives. He also added that it is their character that will save the day and get them the promotion they need.

He also said “you have been able to acquire knowledge and had also learned the value of hard work as well as respect for your peers and elders. 

  Garba reiterated, “You were often scolded and admonished by your teachers for infractions you have committed. You were taught to have empathy for the less privilege in your midst and to aspire to make a contribution towards the improvement of our community, country and the world at large”.

“Today you are leaving Adesoye College as very confident young men and women with lofty goals to pursue. When you leave today, do not leave the values you have learned behind because you will need them for the next stage of your education and beyond”. He said. 

He also commended the parents of the graduating students for their sacrifices of resources, time and energy on their children. 


In his words, “Of course, as parents, the greatest legacy we can bequeath to our children is a good education. He further said, for keeping faith with Adesoye College, they will realize sooner rather than later, that it was worth the sacrifice and effort because products of Adesoye College always standout wherever they are”. 

He however admonished the students to inculcate the habit of discipline, hard work, to be organized, prudent, to choose acquaintance wisely as well as avoiding distractions. 

In the same development, Barrister Olalekan Yusuf a Senior Advocate of Nigeria impelled the graduating students to prepare for the challenges waiting for them in future. 

In his words “No matter where you go or what you do, there are challenges ahead of you. What I am asking from each of you is to meet those challenges straight with your head held high and your heart wide open” 

“learn to power on through adversity and give it your best effort, win or lose bearing in mind always that most opportunities and accomplishment in life appears first with a cloak of challenges or adversity”, he reiterated. 
He also urged the graduands never to abandon the great exercise of learning  and never to be tired of seeking knowledge for great learning and knowledge will Kings and Queens and it will also make nations search them out.
