The life of a young and promising Nigerian blogger based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Chukwuebuka Isidore, also known as Ghostmode, has been allegedly cut short by trigger-happy policemen who shot him dead while smoking in the company of friends.
According to his close friend who posted the sad murder of the young man on Facebook, Barry Festus, Isidore was hanging out with his friends around Azikiwe Street, Mile 2 Diobu area of the Garden City, on Sunday, September 18, 2016.
Suddenly, the police invaded the place, forcing the young men to scamper away going by the menacing looks of the police officers who were said to be shooting sporadically into the air.
In the process of trying to get away from the police, the unfortunate Isidore was shot dead.
This is how Festus captured the incident on his wall:
"It was just on Sunday, 18th September 2016, that we met unexpectedly, for the first time, ever talked about an official link up sometime soon and in his words 'This soon no go too soon', but too bad he’s gone too soon."
"Now I wonder why the police that’s supposed to protect life and properties would be so hasty to take one’s life. If I’m asked why, who would I ask?
Rest well bro, Chukwuebuka Isidore AKA Ghostmode."
