Three Women Killed in Terror Attack Gone ‘Wrong’ in Kenya:

Three women who pretended to be visiting a police station in Mombasa, Kenya to report a crime were killed on Sunday by policemen after they unleashed a terror attack on the station.
Kenyan newspaper, The Star reports that the suspected female terrorists were killed at the Central police station in Mombasa at about 10.30 am.
County commander, Peterson Maelo said the three women were dressed in hijab as they arrived the police station and announced they wanted to report a crime.
A preliminary report also indicated that the three women claimed they wanted to report the loss of mobile phones.
One of them however took out a knife and stabbed the officer manning the report desk, forcing his colleagues to shoot the women.
Two of the women were shot dead at the report office and the third one was reportedly shot as she attempted to escape.
Maelo said one of the suspects also hurled a petrol bomb inside the station, starting a fire.
An officer is said to have sustained an ankle injury during the terror attack while another injured his arm. They were rushed to hospital.
The area has been sealed off and a major security operation launched to find two men who escaped in the midst of the resulting confusion.
One suspect was later arrested and taken into police custody.
