BAYELSA: FRESH OIL SPILLAGE DEVASTATES COMMUNITY





According to a report signed by the Head of Field Operations, Environmental Right Action (ERA) Mr Alagoa Morris, oil spills from Tebidaba-Ogboinbiri crude line belonging to the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC), has released damaging volumes of crude oil into the surrounding.

According to Community  members, the spillage had caused a halt of economic activities, especially Fishing and farming. 
               
Several others lamented that the NAOC has been indifferent to their plight.

NAOC  is yet to make  an  official statement  on the issue.
