WAR AGAINST TERRORISM: US PREVENTS BRAZIL FROM SELLING AIRCRAFT TO NIGERIA

An FG source has spoken to newsmen establishing that the US has prevented Nigeria from purchasing weapons needed by the Army to fight Terrorism in the nation, it was learnt that the issue of the arms embargo against the country by the United States yet abides.  

And that they have again prevented the country from acquiring A29, Super Tucano light attack aircraft from Brazil, on the ground of human rights violation.

It was gathered that the US sold the aircraft to the Brazilians strictly on a condition that they could only be resold to any other nation with the permission of the US.
