GOV. SHETTIMA WANTS PROPER ACCOUNTABILITY OF N500M SET ASIDE BY FG FOR REBUILDING OF CHIBOK SCHOOLS

Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, has called for accountability of  N500m made available by the Federal Government for the rebuilding of the Government Girls School in Chibok.

Shettima, speaking to villagers in Chibok town on Monday, called out the contractor handling the project and demanded an investigation of the money released because the school had remained in an ugly state, since the abduction of the girls.

A former Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, inaugurated the N500m rebuilding project in the school.
