A member of a militant group said to be planning the blow up of Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State,
has been arrested by the police.
The suspect, Abiodun Amos, is said to be a bomb expert, who had been involved in a number of criminal activities like robbery and kidnappings.
It was learnt that two
Ak-47 rifles hidden in a bag and a vehicle loaded with dynamite and
detonators were recovered from the suspect.
An intelligence report received by the office of the National
Security Adviser to the President led to the suspect`s arrest.
