A nurse by the name
Oyekanmi, has been arrested by the police for her role in the death of a
baby she took delivery of in the Odogunyan, Ikorodu area of Lagos
State.
The mother of the dead baby, Adeola, was taken to Oyekanmi during labour
Oyekanmi, during delivery, was said to have pulled off the baby’s hand.
She then advised that the
child be taken to the Ikorodu General Hospital, where the dead child was
finally delivered.
The hospital management then alerted the police to the incident.
Oyekanmi was consequently arrested by the police.
