PERMANENT SEC. IMPLICATED FOR SPENDING 1.5 BILLION ON JONATHAN`S CAMPAIGN


A former Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Power, Godknows Igali, is being quizzed  by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission discovered that he allegedly spent N1.5bn for the purchase of Sports Utility Vehicles which were used by the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation.
The Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, had alleged on Thursday that 40 SUVs and other vehicles were recovered from a retired permanent secretary but the minister failed to mention the name of the suspect.
However, it was learnt that Igali was the retired civil servant.
