The Nigeria Police, DSS, Army have beefed up security in the Federal Capital Territory and
other areas of the country as part of efforts to arrest fleeing Boko
Haram members.
The heightened security is of course aimed at protecting lives and property.
It gathered that policemen and other
security men on patrol in the FCT had been directed to arrest suspicious
individuals, who could be members of Boko Haram that were dislodged
from the Sambisa forest by the military.
This is coming three days after gunmen killed three policemen in the Idu area of Abuja.
