OVER 300 U.S UNIVERSITIES AFFIRM RESOLUTION TO PROTECT STUDENTS FROM TRUMP`S` DEPORTATION POLICY

At the Instance of David Oxtoby (Pomona College President), over 300 universities, including Harvard and Yale, have signed a document indicating their decision to protect their undocumented students.

The signed document reads - “To our country’s leaders we say that DACA ( “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals”) should be upheld, continued, and expanded. We are prepared to meet with you to present our case,” the letter reads.
“This is both a moral imperative and a national necessity. America needs talent — and these students, who have been raised and educated in the United States, are already part of our national community.”
Earlier thousands of students have protested the election of President-Elect "Donald Trump", as a result of uncertainties regarding their studies.

During the electioneering, Mr Trump described DACA as an “illegal executive amnesty” by President Barack Obama.
