With the disbursing of royalties to the tune of N200million to members last Yuletide, Chairman of Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Tony Okoroji, is assured that 2017 holds more bumper rewards to entertainers, given government’s willingness to effectively activate a number of initiatives that were ignored in the oil boom days.
Okoroji, in his New Year message to the industry, advised practitioners and investors in the industry to have faith and take every necessary step to be professional, as the industry will play a key role in revitalising Nigeria’s struggling economy in 2017.
