NIGERIA REPORTEDLY PREPARING 800 SOLDIERS FOR PEACE KEEPING IN GAMBIA




A Nigerian army memo reportedly seen  has indicated that the country is preparing 800 troops for a possible military intervention in Gambia should President Yahya Jammeh cling to power.
The memo reportedly signed by the chief of army staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, and describes the force as ECOMOG, or ECOWAS Mission in Gambia.

The peace keeping operation is said to be led by Senegal.
