Lanre Gentry used biblical curses in the interview to emphasise that he has not laid his hands on Mercy Aigbe in seven years of marriage.
He further said that Mercy Aigbe has been unfaithful in their marriage. Lanre Gentry narrated how Aigbe allegedly spent a week in Dubai with a man after saying she was going to China.
He showed BON several WhatsApp conversations to buttress his point. "When I challenged my wife, she said she only wanted to collect money from him – a married woman!!! But I discovered that it was the same man that paid for the Magodo house she just moved to, which I also found out had been rented over a month ago" said Mr Gentry.

He further said “See, I understand Mercy’s antics too well. All she wants is to move out of my house and be free to live the life of a single woman. What I have tolerated from her all these years, no man can tolerate from any woman."
“I worship Mercy and I have deposited N8m at Benefit Motors to buy her a N16m Range Rover ENVOGUE for her 40th birthday. I have also paid N1.2m for a hall opposite Sheraton Hotel to celebrate her big but she has her eyes on other things.

On why Mercy Aigbe's family has not intervened in the marital mess, Gentry claimed that the star actress has no regard for her family including her father and mother.
Today, Thursday, May 4, 2017, a video of Mercy Aigbe on the day she packed out of her home has surfaced.
Mercy filed a restraining order suit on April 25, 2017, against her husband and was finally granted one on April 28, 2017. The restraining order against her husband covers a one-mile radius.
