A particular soldier by the name "Musa Lawal"with the13th Brigade of the Nigerian Army, has been kidnapped by gunmen around Calabar road, Calabar, Cross River, State.
He was said to have stood in front of a bank after completing a transaction, he was suddenly bundled into a nearby vehicle by unknown gunmen.
An eye witness, confirmed the event, saying he was kidnapped in the presence of security officials at the bank at about 10am on Thursday.
The Army Public Relations Officer, of 13 Brigade, Calabar, Capt. Kayode Owolabi, siad he was yet to be informed of the occurence.
