President Muhammadu Buhari has officially approved the
appointments of Justice Ejembi Eko and Justice Amina Augie into the Supreme
Court.
The two Justices
used to belong to the Court of Appeal, they will be sworn into the Supreme
Court by the Outgoing Chief Justice of Nigeria “Justice Mahmud Muhammed” who
retires on Monday, November 10, 2016.
After
their swearing in, the number of Supreme Court Justices will be 15 (apart from
the Retirees).
